I really love this finch. My artwork is handmade from photo references - usually sketched out in pencil or pen at first, then colored with light, delicate layers of watercolor over a late night or a few evenings. I sketched this one in pen first - which usually freaks people out. They think I'm nuts for starting in pen. But i love it. There's no going back. Gotta commit!
